[Scene opens in the locker room following GWA: Resurrection. "Incredible" Idol Austin is sitting on a bench, almost fully changed into street clothes, a piece of paper beside him. He looks at the camera, and smiles.]

"If you had told me at 47 years old, I would have the Around the Clock contract for an opportunity to challenge for the GWA World Heavyweight Title, a championship I was only moments away from winning fourteen years ago before being screwed by a corrupt official, I don't think I would have believed you. Even if it WAS contested in a Battle Royale, which as everyone knows, is my signature match."

[Austin wipes his brow.]

"I didn't take too many hits, but still, twenty-four minutes in a ring with up to 6 others guys will take its toll on any man. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to addressing the others who were there, so I'll just say it as it comes to mind."

"Ryan Cage. Nothing personal in gunning for you first, I hope you know that. I hate to insult you by implying that I considered you the weakest person there, but, you were. That's not your fault. After the earlier match you had, the fact you could make it to the Riot in the Ring was nothing short of a miracle. When others decided to bow out, you didn't, and that's worthy of my respect."

[Austin shakes his head and chuckles to himself.]

"But Nick Blade, man. That guy is made of steel, let me tell you. I was beginning to think I was going to have to shoot him to get him out of that ring. He was that tough, that resilient. He's going to make people stop and watch every time he steps into the ring if his performance in the Riot tonight is any indication. Seriously. EVERYONE on him, and he hung on for longer than he had any right to. A cynical man would demand a urine sample from him, but I think he's just that damn good. If he doesn't win the GWA World Title some time this season, I for one will be shocked."

[Austin gets up, grabs his Around the Clock contract and holds it to the camera.]

"This was the big prize tonight, and people wanted it badly. You need look no further than the effort Kmodo Dragon put in to claim this to see its importance. I've never seen moves like the ones this guy did. It almost seemed like I was watching a video game or cartoon play out right in front of me. Awesome, awesome, stuff. Too bad he fell short. Truth be told, if I hadn't been in it, I might have been pulling for him.

And let's not forget Martin Schiano. The Iron Man. Thirty four minutes against the best of the GWA's past and present. He showed why he won World Titles in GWA and VWR tonight. He almost had to. When your older brother is Rockshade, those are some big footsteps to follow in. You pretty much have to put up or stay home. Some people might still feel he's in his brother's shadow still, but not me. Not after tonight. Martin is his own man, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to correct themselves immediately."

[Austin puts his contract into a briefcase and closes it up.]

"That leaves me to my two old friends. Guys I've made lot of money with in the past. The 911 Kid and Tony Pride. I have to say, no one was more shocked than I was when I saw 911 head out to that ring for the Riot. I hadn't heard from him in a really long time, at least eight years, and thought maybe he was someone else that the business just swallowed up, never to be seen again. He was a little rusty to start, but once he caught his rhythm, you could see he still had it. He and I haven't always gotten along, but we've always made money hand over fist together, and I am proud to call this man my friend.

And Tony? You're my brother, man. Always will be. You've been my long time friend. From the Powers of Arrogance, to The Upper Echelon, to Dynasty. We made the old NWC our personal kingdom, and whenever we were together, money and gold followed. I owe a lot of what I am to you, and I hope you feel the same toward me.

And tonight, we were able to work together like old times and get Kmodo and Martin out of there, getting to the final two. I hoped we could keep the magic going once it got to us, so we could show people exactly why we're two of the best of all time, but I know fatigue got the best of you. If you were fully rested, it might have been me who got tossed out. There's no doubt of that in my mind."

[Austin turns away from the camera for a moment, to put on his sports coat before looking back.]

"Whoever wins the GWA World Title better watch his back, though. I may be older, but like I've said before, the mind is still quick. I was the dirtiest player in wrestling once upon a time, and I'm not above going to my old ways if it means that I can be a World Champion one more time. I couldn't think of a better way to go into retirement for good than on top."

[Austin flashes one last smile at the camera before it fades out.]
