Factions! Where are they?

One of the great things about the old GWA was some of the great faction wars of the past. And so far, we don't really have much going on in terms of actual factions. There's some great team-ups and rivalries being hinted at, but nothing solid.

I'm kinda curious, anyone have plans about factions/families/etc, or are most of these things just coming up due to chance and circumstance?

I'm sure there are people scheming about families. Nobody really shares their info usually OOC with everyone before it happens though. Factions are more of a natural progression. Alliances usually form over time, not when we first start a season.
